New Doors Increase Security in School Hallway

Problem
A private school for Pre-K through 12^th grade students wanted to increase security between the main hallway and classroom area, but there was very little room to work with since the facility was already built, and they did not want to do a large construction project.

 

Solution
DH Pace provided a solution to the school that would fit within the existing space and not require heavy construction. A set of hollow metal doors with a transom lite was installed in the main hallway, just before the entrance to the classroom area. This door can be kept locked during the school day to keep intruders from walking into the classrooms. The result is an added layer of security for the school and a greater sense of safety for faculty, staff, and students.
